A trip… what?
A solidarity trip is a unique experience where a person knows not only the tourist attractions of a country, but also projects that work to improve their closest reality. The travelers spend a few hours a day collaborating with projects with tasks such as: school support classes, artistic workshops, animal care, organic agriculture, etc. In addition, they usually live with other volunteers who one day decided to take their suitcase and make their small contribution to change the world.
We propose 5 trips to 3 different continents so that you can experience the solidarity summer of your life:
1. Thailand: live with the largest mammals in the world
Imagine waking up, looking around you and not seeing a trace of civilization. only vegetation and elephants and buffalo strolling leisurely. It's not a dream: it's the incredible sense of tranquility that the elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai, Thailand, conveys.
This project welcomes Asian elephants, considered endangered. The purpose of the refuge is rehabilitate these animals so that one day they can return to their natural habitat. Volunteers prepare meals for the elephants, walk with them and help them bathe.

2 Peru: artistic workshops in the Sacred Valley
On this trip you will discover the natural and cultural wealth of Peru, but you will also get to know the beauty and wisdom of its people up close. The project offers educational activities for children with few resources. Every day, more than fifty boys and girls come to participate in artistic workshops or to seek help with their homework.
The volunteers live in the Sacred Valley, in the Peruvian Andes, a place made up of numerous rivers flowing down streams and small valleys. In addition, very close are incredible archaeological sites such as Machu Picchu.

3 India: live in the heart of Tibetan culture
On this trip you will live in the remote and picturesque city of McLeod Ganj, in northern India. It is the place that gives refuge to the Dalai Lama and where thousands of Tibetan refugees live. The objective of this trip is that get to know Tibetan culture up close and the situation of Tibetan refugees in India.
During your stay you will collaborate in a project that offers educational activities to 255 Tibetan students. Specifically, you can give them language classes (English, French and German), professional workshops (CV preparation, crafts, etc.) and health education workshops.

4 Kenya: helping girls dream of a better future
Despite the fact that they transmit joy in abundance, the girls at the Ngong training center in Kenya have terrible stories behind them: forced marriages, orphanhood, sexual abuse, etc. The project you will collaborate with offers them a safe home and education so that they can dream of a better future.
In the project, the volunteers live together in a green environment and surrounded by mountains, in the heart of the Rift Valley. The tasks they perform are: take care of the youngest girls; help organize breakfast, lunch and dinner; tutoring; artistic workshops, etc. Walking in the reddish Kenyan sunset with the joyful voices of girls singing is an experience you won't forget!

5 Take care of wild animals in Bolivia

If you are a nature lover: this is your trip. You will live and collaborate in a center that rescues wild animals victims of mistreatment and illegal trafficking. The project welcomes these animals and ensures them the best possible quality of life. And it does so thanks to volunteers like you.
