We celebrate Volunteer Day!
Today is a special day for Tumaini, we celebrate for the first time the Volunteer Day with all of you. There are many of us who collaborate with Tumaini on a voluntary basis. Both to those of you who support us from here, as well as to the people who have trusted us to carry out a solidarity trip We want to thank you for your trust.
This work that we have done together is giving many people the chance to make a different trip. A way of knowing other realities from within. Live, understand and share many moments with people from different cultures.
The best part of our job is talking to the people who have traveled back. Let them tell us how their experience has been, what they liked the most or how they felt. We want to share with all of you some of the opinions of travelers from Tumaini:

«It will sound like a cliché, but what I liked the most and what made me feel happy, was to give them day by day all my affection and love. I have shared smiles of complicity in difficult moments, I have been able to listen and understand them, I have eaten them with kisses and hugs, all of this being reciprocal» Laura, 29 years old, Solidarity trip to Kenya in July 2014
"He great love, gratitude and joy that all the children of the project have given us. Seeing how they always move forward with a desire to grow and improve with all the economic limitations that condition the lack of school supplies, adequate classrooms, clothing and food» Mariano, 35 years old, Solidarity trip to Kenya in July 2014.
«What I liked the most were the English classes I gave with the older children: Cassindra, Edward and Kimani, the 12 and 13 year olds. «What I liked the most was being in contact with people, both with locals and with volunteers from all over the world» Michael, 19 years old, solidarity trip to Bali in September 2014.
